How did I get myself into Ice-Hockey?

To tell you the truth I never even had in mind an idea of hockey. I was not really interested in the game and did not know its rules or history. For the most of my young life I used to run on a track team. I did not achieve any record times (should I mention that I was always the last one to cross finish line on cross-country meets?), but I was the only white person on my HS team.So, after realizing I had no perspectives there I decided to play hockey on a newly formed team at the University.

After my coach understood I could not skate and had no idea what "blue line" and "off-side" are I was officially promoted to one of the most amazing, fun, incredible, honorable, and priveliged positions on the team - Goaltender. And let me tell you, don't ever think of invading my crease, I promise I will bit the #$?@ out of you, so watch out when GOALINA is in the net!!!
